Wow how do i get back to the isle of thunder

Comment by Joe Is there an innkeeper on the Isle? Comment by Kasperion I hate to say it but, in my opinion, this has to be one of the most poorly designed zones in WoW. Don't even think to try using the mini-map to get from point A to point B, just go out and familiarize yourself with the isle, it'll save you a lot of headaches. Also, when moving from hub to hub, be prepared to kill more enemies while making the journey than you do for the quests themselves.

Worse, people are unwilling to do the above and kill those mobs, they simply run past them and drag them away from their spawn points and patrols. So while that mob you decide to fight may look alone, there could be many more mobs that were dragged away by someone running past on their mounts and when they reset back, you're in trouble.

I thought this place was going to be something along the lines of the Firelands daily area, which I thought was a GREAT place for questing. Unfortunately, whatever "pro's" that area had were not implemented here. Perhaps things will get better as we unlock new stuff but, as it stands, this is an extremely frustrating zone to quest in. Granted, this is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm sure there are many people out there that like it.

Heck, I like the quests themselves, and the vast majority of the actual content. But the zone itself, other than looks, leaves a lot to be desired. EDIT: As a guildie whose Kirin Tor Beacon was on cooldown just stated in vent: "When the idea of logging out and doing the turn-ins tomorrow is more attractive than running the length of the isle, something is wrong. When the idea of afk'ing for ten minutes to wait for the beacon to come off cooldown is more attractive than running the length of the isle, something is wrong.

When the idea of hearthing back to the Shrine, flying to Townlong Steppes, and taking the portal back to the boat is more attractive than running the length of the isle, something is wrong. In short, something is wrong. Comment by Glandur You can't swim to the isle. There's empty water there, you won't get zoned in automagically. Comment by Fartwell i know how to get to stage 2,3 and 4, the easiest way is to die near the ports then you'll release spirit then walk right through the door, works on every door.
